Split ball handicap

A split-ball handicap is a betting market that offers the half-ball handicap as well as the whole-ball handicap, splitting a bettor's stake evenly on each handicap. If you were to place £20 on this market, your bet would be split into two £10 bets.

For example, if Team A were favourites, they would receive -1 whole-ball handicap and -1.5 half-ball handicap whereas Team B would receive +1 and +1.5 as they are the underdogs.

Results when backing Team A:

  • Receive a payout for both handicaps if they win by two or more goals.

  • Receive a refund on your stake for the whole-ball handicap if they win by one goal. You would lose the other half of your stake on the half-ball handicap bet.

  • Lose all stake if they draw or lose.

Results when backing Team B:

  • Receive a payout for both handicaps if they win or draw.

  • Receive a refund on the whole-ball handicap if they lose by one goal. You would receive a payout on the half-ball handicap.

  • Lose all stake if they lose by two or more goals.
